The problem with gaming laptops is that for the most part, they tend to be huge and bulky and heavy. We suppose this can’t be helped as gaming laptops usually require more parts, like bigger and better cooling systems to prevent the laptop from overheating. This means that if you wanted a laptop with gaming capabilities and portability, you would have to suck it and bear the weight of the device.
However, that could change as Razer has since updated its Razer Blade Stealth series of Ultrabooks. One of the configurations, known as the GTX Model, will actually come with NVIDIA’s GeForce GTX 1650 GPU inside of it. This means that with the performance that the GPU offers, you’d be able to run more modern games at higher quality settings.
It will also be accompanied by Intel’s 10th Gen Core i7-1065G7 processor, 512GB of SSD storage, 16GB of RAM, and also the option to between a Full HD or 4K display. The best part is that all of this is stuffed inside a laptop with a 15mm thin chassis that only weighs 1.3kg, making it considerably lighter than most gaming laptops out there.
Unfortunately, performance and form factor do not come cheap as Razer has priced their latest Razer Blade Stealth gaming laptops starting at $1,500. It is expected to be released towards the end of September, so you might want to keep an eye out for it if this is something you might be interested in.
