Vizio Hops On Board The OLED Bandwagon With Its New 2020 TVs

In the TV market, Samsung and LG are two of the more prominent makers of OLED televisions, but it looks like we can add yet another manufacture to the list in the form of Vizio. At CES 2020, the company announced that they will be adding OLED TVs to their lineup, where the 2020 lineup includes a variety of TVs ranging from low-end to higher-end OLEDs.

For the company’s 2020 TVs, Vizio will be offering TVs from as small as 40-inches, which will be part of their V-series, to as big as 85-inches will be part of the Vizio P-Series Quantum X lineup. The company has also announced that they will be introducing a new 64-bit 1GHz ARM processor that will help upscale 4K content and help with color reproduction.

Vizio also notes that there will be a new feature in the form of the “ProGaming Engine” that supports variable refresh rates, along with support for AMD FreeSync and 4K gaming up to 120Hz. There is currently no word on how much these TVs will cost, but Vizio’s TV offerings in the past have been somewhat affordable, so we don’t expect that they will be too exorbitant, but expect prices to increase as you go up towards the higher-end models.
