Apple’s iPhone 13 Could Retain The Same Price As The iPhone 12

Over the years, Apple and other handset manufacturers have steadily increased the price of their smartphones. These days, if you want one of Apple’s flagship iPhones, prepare to pay $1,000 or even more for it. This is why we can’t blame people for feeling apprehensive when it comes to future models as it could potentially cost even more.

That being said, there is some “good news” on that front. Based on a recent TrendForce report, they believe that Apple is expected to maintain the same prices as 2020. This means that for 2021’s iPhone 13, we might not see an increase in price, which is obviously a good thing, but even then, it’s not as if the iPhone 12s were cheap to begin with.

For context, the iPhone 12 mini is priced at $699, while the iPhone 12 is priced at $799, the iPhone 12 Pro at $999, and the iPhone 12 Pro Max at $1,099. These are just the base configuration prices and if you wanted more storage, then you would obviously have to pay more. If this report is accurate, then those are the prices of the iPhone 13 lineup as well.

What’s interesting is that the report seems to suggest that maybe Apple could be absorbing some of the costs. The report claims that prices of components have increased due to supply constraints, but even so, Apple will maintain their pricing anyway.
