Turtle Beach Launches A $350 Flight Simulator Controller

Microsoft’s Flight Simulator has one of the best visuals for a video game, and given that it’s meant to simulate the experience of flying around the world, it kind of has to have excellent graphics. However, if you felt that the experience could stand to be more immersive, then you’re in luck.

At E3 2021, Turtle Beach announced their plans to expand into the controller market. The company is known for their gaming audio accessories like headsets, but it seems that they want to expand into making gaming controllers and have since unveiled a new controller called the VelocityOne Flight.

As you can see in the video above, this is a controller designed specifically for flight games. It is designed to simulate the controls you might find in an airplane. According to Turtle Beach, they claim to have worked with pilots and aerospace engineers to design the accessory to make it as authentic as possible.

The end result is a controller that can allow for a 180-degree yoke, integrated rudder controls, programmable buttons, and a full-color display. As expected it won’t come cheap and will be priced at $350, but if you think that it’s worth the investment, head on over to Turtle Beach’s website for the details.
