Later this year, Google is expected to launch its brand new Pixel 6 phones. For those wondering about the specs and what they can expect from this year’s flagship phones, FrontPageTech has shared the alleged specs of both the upcoming Pixel 6 and the Pixel 6 Pro, and assuming it’s accurate, it sounds like a winner already.
This is because according to the report, Google will apparently be introducing their own custom chipset with the Pixel 6. There have been rumors that Google could be looking to develop their own chipsets and it seems that it could debut with the Pixel 6. This also seems to be in line with an earlier rumor.
As for the specs, the Pixel 6 will come with a 6.4-inch AMOLED display with a 50MP + 12MP camera setup on the back, an 8MP front-facing camera, a 4,614mAh battery, 8GB of RAM, and up to 256GB of storage. The Pixel 6 Pro will have a larger 6.71-inch Plastic OLED display, a 50MP + 48MP + 12MP camera combo on the back, a 12MP front-facing shooter, a 5,000mAh battery, 12GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of storage.
Both phones are also expected to come with support for WiFi 6E and 5G. No word on an official launch date yet, but the report claims that it will probably take place around October.
