Windows 11 Is Now Available To Beta Channel Testers

Windows 11 is expected to be released later this year but if you’re part of Microsoft’s Insider program, then you might be interested to learn that the company has announced that Windows 11 is now available for those who are in the beta channel. This is compared to earlier where it was only available in the Dev channel.

That being said, even in beta this is still a relatively early version of Windows which means that you might not necessarily want to use it as your daily driver. It should be fine if you just want to download it and take a look under the hood and see what Windows 11 has to offer once it’s available.

Microsoft does state that the beta version is more stable compared to the Dev preview which was rougher around the edges, but like we said, it’s still probably not a good idea to use it as a daily driver. In fact, you might even want to consider installing it on a second partition just to be safe.

Windows 11 will start rolling out by the end of 2021 and will be a free upgrade for users who are coming from Windows 10. If you’re wondering if your computer is capable of supporting the next-generation of Windows, you can check out our guide here.
